Oil Discharge Monitoring Equipment (ODME) Maintenance & Services:
ODME systems must maintain compliance with SOLAS requirements for offshore discharge from ships and vessels. PSV is the sole representative in Africa for KSB SEIL ODME equipment and provides ship owners problem-solving maintenance services and technical expertise for ODME systems.
Working remotely via partner networks, PSV provides clients with: spare part sales, supply and supervision of system upgrades, service visits to vessels and annual inspections.
Annual Inspection
Annual Inspection is created to avoid unnecessary failures (Alarms), to Calibrate ODME System and to instruct crew onboard. During our Annual Inspection the ODME System is Checked, Calibrated, tested and if necessary adjusted and/or repaired according maker’s instructions. After each Inspection the crew is instructed on how to perform all tests and how to maintain a good working ODME System.
Troubleshooting
Our Engineers are always willing to provide technical advice by email and work with ship crew to try and solve a problem remotely. If the problem persists Onboard Service is required.
Onboard Service
If the problem persists after remotely troubleshooting an Onboard Service visit by one of our Service Engineers is required. Platinum Samandy will only provide Certified Engineers to carry out Service / Repairs onboard.
